First Day Service

Bekins will make moving day easier by allowing you to select those essential items necessary to settle quickly into your new home. When utilizing Bekins packing services, and upon request, Bekins’ personnel will unpack these essential items first, including one (1) dish pack, all mattress cartons and up to four (4) additional carrier-packed cartons at no charge on shipments of over 3,500 lbs. packed by Bekins.

Concierge Services

Through our partnership with homes.org, their friendly “concierge” staff can assist you with setting up services you will need in your new home. This will allow you more time to settle into your new home and community. Planning is the key to a successful relocation and putting your trust in Bekins will help you alleviate some of your stress. Pricing Options

Your Bekins salesperson will come out to your home and provide you with a free, detailed estimate of the costs for your move. We know that every move is different so we offer several pricing options for you to choose from including:

• Actual Weight - the price is determined based on the weight of the items that you are moving
• Not to Exceed - capped maximum based on the estimated items that you are moving
• “No Excuse Price™” - a truly guaranteed price, which cannot change unless you change the items included on the estimate.

Based on the services you select, your salesperson will create an estimate which will include the transportation cost plus any other services you may need. If you’d like an estimate on packing, crating a special item or even storage, your salesperson will also provide you with those costs as part of the estimate. By having everything in writing, there can be no last-minute surprises.

Packing Service

Expert Packing

Packing can be one of the biggest challenges of your move. Consider using Bekins professional packing services. Whether you select Bekins professional packing services for your entire household or just for a few special items, we can help you. Bekins professional packing services offer you convenience and peace of mind. Our packers are trained in packing methods to alleviate any damage during transit. We offer a full range of packing services from the complete packing of all items in your home, to partial packing services. Or, you may want us to pack your fragile items like china, glassware, mirrors or artwork. Whatever your packing needs, we can assist.

And don’t forget to take advantage of our complimentary “First Day Service” option on shipments of 3,500 lbs. or more, if the cartons were packed by Bekins. Service includes unpacking at moving family's request of one (1) dishpack, all mattress cartons and up to four (4) additional cartons. These are items such as your children’s favorite stuffed animals, bedding, pillows, your coffee pot, coffee mugs, towels and other bathroom items that you will need immediately upon moving in. You will have access to these cartons first so that you can begin settling into your new home immediately.

We know how important it is to you that your goods arrive at your new home safely and without damage. The correct packing of your household goods will ensure that they remain safe during transit.

Whether you use Bekins packing services or if you decide to pack on your own, it is important to plan and organize. Plan to pack only items that you will use in your new home. Don’t pack items that you’ve be planning to get rid of – donate them to charity.
